He has been an independent consultant for over 6 years for clients including Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) and the Screen Actors Guild - Producers Pension and Health Plans (SAG-PAC). As President & Principal Analyst for CollabGen®, Ed is now authoring a White Paper Series on Unified Telecommunication Model (UTM©), including a recent paper titled UTM© for Voice-over IP Network Design, including Wi-Fi & Mobility (co-authored by Tim Connelly), which is being sponsored by NEC Unified Solutions.

Tim is an analyst and solution designer currently focused on mobility solutions including Wi-Fi, VoIP and multi-media applications; with nearly 20 years of engineering experience in the computer and communications industry. He speaks at many industry events on the topic of emerging wireless technologies. Tim has held positions at several industry leading companies, most recently as Director of Engineering for Toshiba. There he was in charge of developing Toshiba’s wireless mobility solutions, including solutions to provide VoIP over Wi-Fi for Enterprises with PBX integration and Seamless Roaming capabilities.

His experience includes product marketing, system architecture, and international standards. He has worked for GTE Telenet, Sprint International, and Alcatel Data Networks with a focus on packet data networking. He has a BSEE degree from Floridia International University and an MBA degree from San Diego State University.

They are headquartered in Anaheim with offices in Honolulu, Hawaii and Hayward, California with manufacturing in Mexico. Steve is a multi-talented individual, providing technology support for his wife's rapidly growing company in addition to a second career in writing and video/film production. David Wang is the President and Founder of NetSapiens, Inc, which provides Voice over IP Software Applications to New Generation Service Providers. Prior to NetSapiens, David was the Chief Technical Officer for Nuera Communications, where he was the driving technical force behind the companies award winning carrier class VoIP solutions. During the earlier days of VoIP standardization he served as the Rapporteur for the ETSI Project TIPHON, and also extensively contributed to and participated in the IMTC, IETF, and Frame Relay Forum. Prior to that, David served as the Director of Signal Processing at Cirrus Logic/PCSI, which built voice and data convergence equipment, voice coders, and modem chip sets; David started his career as a Senior Engineer at M/A-COM Linkabit. David holds various patents in the areas of Signal Processing and Communication Systems. He was a graduate of the University of California at San Diego and a Fairchild Scholar at the University of Maryland.
